I am always trying to make my web site the most productive, resourceful, and easy to use for anyone looking for real estate information in the Greater Reno-Tahoe area.
Additionally, I get frequent requests from web site visitors such as:
- Are there mature trees near a specific home or neighborhood?

I've been busy at work adding a number of pages to my site recently. Most of them fall under a new section I'm calling the Carson Valley Real Estate Search Guide which features a wide range of pre-set search options including homes by neighborhood (not easty to do without this tool), search homes by school zoning, and search homes by golf courses.
The Carson Valley Golf Courses and Homes for Sale page allows you to preview basic information about each course in the Carson Valley area as well as review all homes for sale within each golf community.
Featured golf coures include Carson Valley Golf Course, Sunridge, and the two Genoa Lakes courses (Club and Resort).

Carson City Homes For Sale
Last December (2006), there were 396 Carson City Homes for Sale in the local MLS. Currently (as of this post date), there are 402 Carson City Homes for Sale in the local MLS. This represents a negligible increase of 6 homes compared to last year. This would lead you to believe the Carson City real estate market is just a "tad bit" further into Buyer market territory from one year ago.

What Happened to the Buyer's Market?
OK. Everyone who follows real estate knows that we are currently in a Buyer's market (which is defined by slow moving inventory, great negotiating leverage for home buyers, and stagnant to falling prices).
I'm here to tell you that there is currently a Seller's market (yes - you read that right) that exists right inside the Buyer's market we hear and read about.
