You may also want to consider certain business aspects such as boarding horses for others in the community. Don't stop the thinking on your own parcel however! If the property you are looking to purchase could be surrounded by non equestrian properties or traditional neighborhoods, you may find yourself the "odd man out". Check surrounding vacant parcels and try to get a feel for the development trend for the next several years.
